### Box Office Success: *Singham Again*’s Strong Opening

*Singham Again* has taken the box office by storm following its release during Diwali 2024, earning a massive ₹120 crore over the opening weekend. This collection marks a record for both director Rohit Shetty and actor Ajay Devgn, surpassing the opening weekend earnings of *Golmaal Again* and *Chennai Express*, becoming the biggest opener for both the director and actor. 

On Day 3, Sunday, the movie continued its strong run with an estimated ₹35-36 crore, despite a slight decline of about 20% compared to its first two days, which saw collections of over ₹40 crore each. The film has managed to maintain its position at the top of the box office, even amid competition from *Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3*, which is also performing well. 

The film’s total occupancy on Sunday was recorded at 52.55%, with the highest number of tickets sold in major cities like Mumbai, NCR, Pune, and Bengaluru.

### The Story: A High-Octane Cop Drama

*Singham Again* brings back Ajay Devgn in the role of Bajirao Singham, a relentless and fearless cop on a mission to stop crime and restore justice. This time, Singham faces off against the dangerous terrorist Danger Lanka (played by Arjun Kapoor), who threatens the safety of Singham’s wife, Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan). The plot also sees the return of fan-favorite characters from Shetty’s *Cop Universe*, including Ranveer Singh’s Simmba, Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, and Tiger Shroff’s Satya, each contributing to the battle against evil in their own unique ways.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film explores themes that resonate with Indian mythology, particularly drawing inspiration from the Ramayana, as Singham confronts greater challenges than ever before.
